In exceptional circumstances, an article may be withdrawn from publication due to administrative or contractual reasons related to the publishing agreement.
If the authors fail to fulfill the payment obligations associated with the Article Processing Charge after the acceptance of the manuscript, the publisher reserves the right to withdraw the article from publication due to a breach of the publishing agreement.
Such withdrawal is administrative in nature and does not relate to the scientific content, validity, or integrity of the research presented in the article.
Preservation of the Scholarly RecordIn order to maintain transparency and preserve the integrity of the scholarly record:
- the bibliographic description of the article will remain available on the journal’s website;
- the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registered through Crossref will remain active;
- the article page will be clearly marked as “Withdrawn Article.”
The article page will contain a Withdrawal Notice explaining the reason for the withdrawal.
Access to Article Content After WithdrawalAfter withdrawal:
- the full text and PDF of the article will no longer be accessible through the journal website;
- the landing page of the article will display a notice indicating that the article has been withdrawn.
Compliance with Publication Ethics
All editorial actions related to the withdrawal of articles follow internationally recognized principles of publication ethics, including the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics.
Administrative withdrawal due to contractual issues is distinct from editorial actions such as corrections or retractions, which are applied only in cases where the reliability or integrity of the scientific content is affected.
