The International Interdisciplinary Scientific Journal “Expert” is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality scholarly research within the broad fields of social, economic, and legal sciences.
The Journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and other scholarly contributors to publish original studies, theoretical and conceptual contributions, analytical papers, review articles, and other scholarly works addressing contemporary issues of scientific and public relevance.
The Journal is committed to promoting rigorous, ethically grounded, and socially relevant research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge across disciplines and supports informed academic, professional, and policy-oriented discussion.
Particular attention is given to interdisciplinary studies that integrate perspectives, methods, or concepts from multiple fields in order to address complex economic, managerial, legal, political, psychological, institutional, and social challenges.
1. Aims
The Journal aims to:
- promote interdisciplinary research across economics, management, law, and related social sciences;
- facilitate the exchange of knowledge between academia, professional practice, industry, and public institutions;
- support the development of evidence-based approaches to contemporary economic, social, legal, administrative, and institutional challenges;
- encourage innovative theoretical, empirical, comparative, and applied research with scholarly and practical relevance;
- support research that connects disciplinary perspectives and contributes to a more integrated understanding of complex real-world problems;
- contribute to international academic dialogue and cross-disciplinary cooperation.
2. Scope
Within its overarching profile in the social, economic, and legal sciences, the Journal welcomes original scholarly contributions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

3. Publication Priorities
The Journal particularly encourages submissions that:

- apply clear and appropriate theoretical, empirical, comparative, analytical, or interdisciplinary approaches;
- address contemporary national, regional, or international issues;
- contribute to scholarly discussion and, where relevant, practical understanding;

Particular value is placed on manuscripts examining interactions between economic, institutional, legal, managerial, social, and policy processes, as well as on research that advances interdisciplinary understanding of complex real-world challenges.
Interdisciplinarity is encouraged where it contributes substantively to the research question, analytical framework, interpretation, or scholarly contribution of the manuscript. The use of multiple disciplinary labels alone does not constitute an interdisciplinary contribution.
4. Types of Publications
The Journal considers the following types of scholarly contributions for publication:
- Original Research Articles;
- Review Articles;
- Theoretical and Conceptual Papers;
- Methodological Papers;
- Analytical and Applied Studies;
- Analytical Case Studies;
- Other Scholarly Contributions that fall within the Journal’s scope and are eligible for consideration under the applicable editorial policies.
Eligible publication types may employ disciplinary, interdisciplinary, comparative, theoretical, empirical, methodological, or applied research approaches, where appropriate to the research question, methodology, and scholarly purpose of the manuscript.
All submissions must present original, unpublished scholarly work and comply with applicable standards of academic integrity, authorship, citation, attribution, and publication ethics.
Manuscripts must fall within the thematic scope of the Journal and satisfy the applicable scholarly and editorial requirements. Their further consideration is governed by the Journal’s editorial assessment and peer-review framework.
6. Editorial Assessment and Scholarly Standards
The Journal maintains high standards of editorial assessment and academic quality.
Manuscripts submitted for consideration are initially assessed for their relevance to the Journal’s aims and scope and for compliance with essential scholarly and editorial requirements.
Depending on the manuscript and the stage of editorial consideration, assessment may include consideration of:
- originality and scholarly contribution;
- relevance to the Journal’s aims and scope;
- methodological rigor and analytical validity;
- clarity, coherence, and academic quality of presentation;
- appropriate use of evidence and scholarly sources;
- compliance with applicable ethical and publication requirements;
- contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the relevant field or across disciplines.
Initial editorial assessment precedes external peer review.
Not every submission proceeds to external peer review. Scholarly manuscripts that successfully complete initial editorial assessment and remain under consideration for publication undergo external double-blind peer review by two independent reviewers.
A manuscript may therefore be declined before external peer review where it does not proceed beyond the initial editorial assessment in accordance with the Journal’s applicable editorial policies.
Editorial assessment and peer review are conducted in accordance with the Journal’s Editorial Policies, Peer Review Process, Publication Ethics, Review Ethics, and other applicable Journal policies.
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly and editorial considerations and are made by the Editor-in-Chief. Where the Editor-in-Chief has a relevant conflict of interest, decision-making authority is transferred to a qualified non-conflicted member of the Editorial Board or another appropriately designated independent editor in accordance with the Journal’s Editorial Policies.

7. Responsible Research Assessment
The International Interdisciplinary Scientific Journal “Expert” applies a fair, transparent, and academically grounded approach to editorial assessment.
Submitted manuscripts are assessed primarily on the scholarly characteristics of the work itself, including:
- originality;
- methodological rigor;
- analytical quality;
- clarity;
- relevance to the Journal’s scope;
- appropriate engagement with relevant scholarly literature;
- contribution to knowledge.
The Journal does not use journal-level metrics, institutional prestige, author status, or comparable proxy indicators as substitutes for direct assessment of the scholarly characteristics of an individual submission.
Editorial assessment should focus on the content and scholarly merits of the work, subject to the Journal’s applicable ethical, editorial, and publication requirements.
This approach reflects established principles of responsible research assessment and the Journal’s commitment to integrity, fairness, transparency, and academically grounded evaluation.
